Picture: Skate-Aid-Green Helmets

I’ve been watching a lot of international news lately, since we don’t have cable and most mainstream channels can’t be viewed with our shitty antennae reception. 

One story caught my attention: Germans importing skateboarding to Afghanistan schools.  The sport has caught great popularity among boys and girls. There aren’t any rules attached and folks of all ages support it. You don’t need grass or special fields.  Who would have thought skateboarding would work well with Afghanis.
